Late one night "The Game" was browsing Myspace.com, and decided to look up his long lost sister. Surprisingly he found her!

Better there, than backstage at a concert huh? I guess myspace is good for more than just online flirting.

Eva Pigford to Host Top Model Knockoff

BET has done it again. After College Hill (a bootleg Real World), the network has decided to put another successful show on the Xerox machine, and see what happens.

Enter Eva Pigford, and Tyra's "Top Model" concept, another half hearted attempt at Black Entertainment Television is born.

I just hope when this show is cancelled Eva will be promoted to host 106 and Park. (Seriously, where did they find the current hosts?)

Three contestants will be assigned a weekly fashion theme....Blah, Blah, Blah. Sounds lame to me. Why don't they put something out there that people will want to watch? Like re-runs of Sparks or Homeboys from Outer Space....Just a suggestion!

Black Celebrities vs. the IRS

First it was Redd Foxx, Mike Tyson, Jermaine Dupri, Ronald Isley, now its Wesley Snipes turn.

The actor was indicted today on 8 counts of tax fraud including trying to defraud the government out of $12 million dollars. If convicted on all counts Snipes could face up to 16 years in prison.

Is this karma kicking in for Snipes, not making black movies anymore?
You know when sell-out black men, find themselves knee deep in legal woes, they turn black again. I’m sure he will make some sort of deal with the government, and in an attempt to make a few quick bucks (to pay restitution) we can expect plenty of crappy movies from the action star.

Wouldn’t it be cool, if he made “New Jack City” The Prequel? I’m just trying to help a brother out……

Flav Gets His Girl, Deelishis Gets A Grill!

So the finale was last night and it went something like this:

Flav and the final two, took a trip to Belize. Flav’s first date is with D, while NY, pouts in her room. On NY’s date with Flav, she takes on her mothers personality (which she has had the whole time, I guess it just became apparent to him) telling him she will make all of the decisions when they get married. Her inability to let him take charge caused her to get the boot again. Being the sore loser she is, Tiffany (a.k.a New York) cursed Flav out, and showed her ass. Literally! Like he hadn’t seen it before!

LET’S GET REAL!!!

This show is so fake, it makes bad weaves and black french tips look natural. However, we fall for these rating ploys everytime. We all knew he would pick Deelishis (a.k.a London Charles), because NY is getting the spinoff. It would have been more interesting if he kept Krazy on and let her and Deelishis fight it out to the end.

Speaking of ratings, be sure to check out the reunion show, there will be plenty of "Jerry Springer-ish" type fun!

Don't Program Your DVR Just Yet....

Kelis now says there are no plans for a reality show, based on the lives of her and hubby Nasir Jones. The singer claims, the cameras are around to memorialze her cool, and showcase to thier unborn kids.

MARTIN GETS A JOB....FINALLY!

Thank Goodness!!! My prayers have been answered and someone finally gave Martin something to do.

The Starz network will be home to "1st Amendment", executively produced by Martin Lawrence. Following the Def Comedy Jam blueprint, the Bad Boy will bring us uncensored comedy from up and coming comedians. Look for it early 2007.

I would tell you what else the Starz network has to offer, but I've never watched it...Oh wait, isn't that the channel that all those bootleg BET movies are on? Like "Love and a Bullet" featuring Treach or "Flip the Script" starring Robin Givens?

Just wondering.....

Introducing the Mr. & Mrs. Jones Show....

Nas and Kelis were spotted taping for thier new reality show, in a trendy NYC resturant. Details aren't in just yet, as to when the show will premier, or on which network. I just hope it's not on MTV, because they're spousal based shows usually end up in divorce. Ask Carmen or Jessica what cameras in the home did for thier marriages...Oh yeah, they ended up on another show, it's called Divorce Court.

Personally I would like to keep the mystery of Nas, a mystery. I can just image, Nas, cooking and cleaning for Kelis, feeding her milkshakes....

Oh the horror....

Flavor Flav Flies Solo

To extend his 15 minutes of fame, Flav has a solo CD coming out at the end of the month. He says this will be his one and only solo effort, because he wants it to be a collectors item.

Maybe I was too young, or being from the West Coast not really into Public Enemy but wasn't Flav, just the "Hype Man"???? I really can't recall not one of his verses, but I'm sure when this album drops it will have lots of guest apperances from broke, one-hit wonders rappers from the 80's and 90's.

Needless to say, I wouldn't cop this CD from my local bootlegger, even if he was giving them away with the Flavor Flav action figures!!!! (Yes he even has action figures)

Way to make a comeback Flav!!!!!

Black Sunday

In probably the dumbest move in television history, the poorest (and most entertaining) networks, decided to unite. Here it is, the CW, a merge between WB (the We Black channel) and UPN (the Under Paid Negroes channel) As if it wasn’t a big enough slap in the face, to have half of the black shows cancelled, they also moved all of the remaining shows to what I like to call Black Sunday.

The remaining shows….lets just say it was painful to watch. Here it goes.

Everybody Hates Chris- Chris met his first big boned gold digger/opportunist, and Whoopi Goldberg guest starred as an annoying new neighbor. Mediocre at best. I think I’m starting to hate Chris too.

All of Us-Lil Bobby got his first pubic hair, and he is only six??? He showed it to a little white girl, then tried to brush it (with the biggest brush ever) and it fell out. Dirk’s new daughter, popped in, and insisted on having her dad (that she just met) take her bra and thong shopping. Hated It!

Girlfriends-5 minutes into it, I started watching a fly circle the room. It was more entertaining. I will never watch this show again, until Toni Childs (Jill Marie Jones) returns to the cast.

The Game- Probably the most entertaining show, too bad I had to sit through an hour and a half of crap to get to it. I’m programming this one in the DVR next time.

That’s all for now, I’m heading to Barnes & Nobles to pick up a book, because television for African-Americans has definitely gone to hell in a hand basket.
