BET Award Highlights

First off, I'd like to give the "Most Energetic Award"to T-Pain! He spent 60% of the 3 hour show on stage performing. Between the collection of Mad Hatter Hats, and the Slow Motion Walk, BET should have just let him host the show. The Ringleaders circus was much better than the ride we took in the time machine back to 2001 or whenever it was when D.L. was funny....

All in all I do recognize that BET believes in keeping their former "stars" employed, if only for one night. Exhibit B...Big Tigger. Wasn't it great to see him on the aftershow? Boy have I missed the yell of his voice. Let's not forget Exhibits C & D, Neffe and Frankie. They looked good, however I don't speak NorCal so could someone please translate for me? And while we are on the fam- "Worst Performance and "Worst Dressed" goes to....Keyshia Cole! Why do we keep allowing her to sing live?

Hitting a positive note-EnVogue, looked and sounded amazing! Where's their reality show BET?

SWV & TLC, not so much...Coko looked quite perturbed to be sharing the stage with others, and

T-Boz's pants were on loan from Mr. Furley of 3's Company.... Speaking of clothes on loan... it was very nice to see Anthony Hamilton pay homage to Al Green, wearing one of his actual outfits from 1975...white shoes and all!

Note to BET-Every year the tribute performances are spectacular, make them into CD's and sell them to the mass markets. It would be the smartest move the network has made in years.

T-Wayne!!! Hands down...talks of a collabo CD between the two have begun, The new era of Best of Both Worlds has begun.

In case you didn't notice, there weren't any actual highlights of the award recipients. Reason being, the BET Awards hold no merit, whatsoever within the entertainment industry.
